This was hands down my FAVOURITE hotel in all of my Japan trip. It was also my last hotel before heading back to Sydney, so it seemed liked the perfect place to wrap my trip up. To begin with, the immediate entrance to this building is beautiful - going up the escalator and seeing the restaurant layout for Sorae is stunning. Going up the elevator to your hotel room, you get an even better view of the second floor restaurant. I was so pleased with my room - it was on the 6th floor where the amenities and gym is situated. The room itself exceeded my expectations - the wall had beautiful sakura blossom designs, the bathroom had a little 'window' to the bedroom so that natural light could come in, which I absolutely loved. (this may bother you if you are traveling with another, there is a blind on this window you can pull down for privacy). The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows, and the pyjama shirt was super soft. I had the best sleep here. Oh and I could even since Mt. Fuji from my window - that was such a treat! I could not be any happier with the location of this hotel - it has absolutely everything you could ever need. The first floor has a bar and grill restaurant and at the back entrance to Joji Plaza are two lovely cafe/lunch spots. I had a coffee and pastry at B2 B-Squared and it was 10/10. Various restaurants outside too on back street (Nishiichijo street) - there were restaurants offering yakitori, okonomiyaki, an izakaya and even an italian restaurant as well. Kichijoji itself was such a beautiful place to stay - it had an artsy, relaxed feel to the area but still very lively and plenty to do. It felt like the perfect mix of the Tokyo liveliness and laid-back charm. Highly recommend laundromat Parkside Laundry if you need any clothes cleaned. There's also a pig cafe called 'Pignic' nearby, beside Inokashira Park.

Overall we had a good stay. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The location is great to see the western side of Tokyo, and not too far from buses and trains. The facilities are clean, and your key card is required to use the elevator, so it has a more secure feel. That said, our room we had for 3 people was very tight. While this is pretty common in Tokyo, this room was not very well appointed like we had at other locations. The main issue was that I couldn’t use my CPAP for sleeping. They had added an extra twin into the room which really just created one massive bed, so there wasn’t a table or an easy way to plug in my machine. Luckily I was traveling with heavy sleepers, lol! I would still stay here again, just next time no more than 2 people per room.

Location is very very convenient. Kochijoji is such a nice place. Less thant 10mins walk to the JR station. Everything you need is walking distance. Room setting quite standard, our room separate the toilet and bath room, just as some typical Japanese room setting. Kid love the bath tube. Room size quite ok, as in Tokyo Metropolis, at this price. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. On 2nd floor there is a cafe, we were offered an access card or sth, but didn't got time to try, looked very nice and classy cafe. To keep it short, Kochijoji is very very nice, you have shopping, restaurant, transportation to central Tokyo and everything. Hotel clean and room fine, nice stay.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Kichijoji Station, and in a great location -- steps from thousands of choices for shopping and eating and wandering. I didn't try the breakfast/restaurant, but it looked incredible -- as did the view of it from the elevator. The staff was also very professional, polite, and helpful (they even helped me send my luggage ahead to the next hotel and fill out the shipping label etc). Excellent choice for a great hotel in a bustling neighborhood that's still quieter in a way than Shibuya etc - a short train from central Tokyo but has it's own distinct personality.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, functional and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. There was a wide variety of cuisines available from all countries. Very fresh, well presented and tasty. It would satisfy the fussiest of diners. The staff were extremely friendly and professional attending to our every need. We also had dinner on New Year's Day - it was a beautiful and an inexpensive experience for what we ordered. Compliments were sent to the chef and thanks to the attentive, courteous staff.
